Family - Spending more time with the ones we love


It was Dave and Jen's video (the one shot eight weeks on the Gundry diet) that inspired me to  exclusively follow the diet for six weeks - I had NO bread, no beer, no corn, no soda pop etc. etc.)  Was it hard?  Yes!  Was it worth it?  Oh YES!!!

2.  Start Exercising - I walk 30 to 60 minutes a day and have been for 120 straight days!

Before I started my anti-aging regimin, I only walked around the office or at home.  This equated to about 4,000 steps per day.  I now walk 11,900 steps per day and 38 miles per week. I plan on walking every morning for the rest of my life.

3.  Earthing  - Use "Earthing" to reduce inflamation.  Time Magazine's groundbreaking article in 2004 identified inflamation as one of the links to heart disease, cancer and Alzheimers. 

Before I started earthing, I had severe pain in my shoulder.  The pain made it hard to sleep on my left side which was my predominent side for sleeping the past 50+ years.  In fact, I could not raise my arm over my head without pain.

I started earthing in early May 2019 and within a few weeks I noticed the pain had reduced significantly.  In fact, I now can raise my arm over my head without sharp pain.  Earthing definitely worked for me.

4. Supplements for Anti-Aging 

I currently take four supplements and monitor my blood results before adding other supplements.  I do plan on adding two other supplements and will publish the results in the next few months.

Supplement #4 - The newest anti-aging supplement discovered by David Sinclair of Harvard Medical Labs is NMN

In the past few years, studies suggest that NAD+ systematically declines with age, which contributes to many age related diseases.  NAD+ helps facilitate cellular functions, DNA repair, growth, and many more things. Quite simply, without NAD+, life would not be possible.

A new study published in Nature Metabolism reveals how NMN enters the cell in order to become NAD+.  NMN is  beneficial because it elevates levels of NAD+, which decline with age. NAD+ is vital to metabolism, turning nutrients into energy, and it also activates sirtuins, a set of proteins that regulate longevity. We can activate NAD+ in our bodies by consuming foods with NAD+ precursors in them. While NMN can be found in trace amounts in various foods, though, one can’t eat enough of anything to boost NAD+ levels back to youthful levels. As a result, supplementing with NMN, an NAD+ precursor can help mitigate the decline.
